Was established on 14/07/2010 with the official gazette number 27648. Our department received its first students in the 2017-2018 academic year.

When the program is successfully completed and program qualifications are provided, the degree of Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering is granted.

Specific Admission Requirements
The student who wants to register is obliged to complete the exams determined by OSYM within the academic and legal regulations of the university.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
Recognition of prior non-formal and formal education in higher education institutions in Turkey is at an early stage. Erzurum Technical University and therefore the department is no exception to this situation. Nonetheless, for the English language level, exams are held every semester and the previous foreign language education is recognized. Students may be exempt from these courses in the curriculum if they pass the grade.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations
As explained in the Education-Training and Examination Regulations of the Technical University of Erzurum, students must be successful in all course units, including completion projects and internships, and must pass a passing grade.
Profile of The Programme
The aim of Computer Engineering Undergraduate Program is to train engineers who are able to compete on an international level, be sound and knowledgeable, think, research and produce in the field of Computer Engineering and Information Systems.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Departmental graduates can work as computer engineers at various levels in our country and foreign industrial, various universities, public and private institutions, research institutes.

Students who graduate from this program can apply to study at undergraduate programs.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Exams; Short exams, midterm exams, final exam, single course exams, additional exams, make-up exams, exemption exams and compensation exams. These exams may be written, oral, or both written, oral and / or practical. The final examination period is at least two (2) lesson hours, and the interim examination is at least one (1) lesson hour. In examinations that are conducted as short-term exams and multiple-choice, blank-filled examinations, the duration of the exam is determined by the relevant instructor.
Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate from the program, the student must complete a total of 47 courses including 38 compulsory, 2 non-technical elective and 7 technical elective courses (4 from within the department) to obtain 143 credits and 240 ECTS credits and have a GPA of 2.00 and above. The list of courses in the curriculum is given in the "Course Category List". From these courses, the BIL-405 and BIL-408 coded finishing projects allow the student to apply the knowledge learned during the program to an engineering project. In addition, for graduation, the student is required to successfully complete his compulsory internship in an organization approved by the department.

Facilities
As of 2017, education and research activities are carried out with 2 assistant professors and 4 academic staff. There are two advanced computer laboratories and classes for sustainable education and research activities in the department.
